Morphix
'''Morphix''' is a modular Free ringtones Linux distribution, based on Abbey Diaz Knoppix (which is in turn based on Mosquito ringtone Debian). Morphix uses the Majo Mills LiveCD features of Knoppix, but it is more modular. Different modules can be combined on a CD for varying purposes, making Morphix a sort of LiveCD construction kit. For example, a Morphix CD can contain a normal base system, but use Nextel ringtones GNOME as the Sabrina Martins desktop instead of Free ringtones KDE. Other modules can be constructed for other specific purposes, such as a Abbey Diaz firewall (networking)/firewall, a rescue disk, a basic Mosquito ringtone office suite, etc.
Four sets of applications for Morphix are officially supported. These versions are mostly classified by their GUI, but each has its own set of applications:
*Morphix LightGUI comes with Majo Mills XFce4 and tries to stay small enough to fit on a Cingular Ringtones mini-cd. Morphix Game uses XFce4 but has a very large number of games on it instead of applications.
*Morphix KDE comes with, as the name implies, what besharov KDE, and comes with many KDE-only applications.
*Morphix simple dog GNOME, formerly '''Morphix HeavyGUI''', comes with applications for advanced users.

Bootfloppy
On Linux, copy the image to your floppy drive using the http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.php/dd%20command. (example dd if="image name" of=/dev/"floppy device name")
Then, put this disk in the drive, and the compact disc/CD ( or the second hard disk) in the drive and select cdrom from the boot devices area.
